Catholic students who participate in the campus ministry at Robert Morris College are considered to be guest parishioners and are welcome at all services and functions of the parish. From time to time this group participates as ushers, Eucharistic ministers, servers and lectors.
USHERS
In order to ensure honor and respect for the Eucharistic liturgy, ushers help to seat parishioners at natural pauses during the Mass, such as after the penitential rite and between the readings. In addition to providing seating assistance, ushers direct the Eucharistic procession, and collect the offering. They also distribute the weekly bulletin and monitor the parking lot when needed.
